Full House, First Time

Our first ever ‘Open House,’ held at the Technical Centre in Braintree, was a roaring success, judging by the substantial attendance of guests from major UK companies.

In conjunction with, Haas Automation, with whom we have established a close working relationship, the event demonstrated high quality tooling on a Haas VF-O SE Vertical Machining Centre and the new SL Turning Centre, to machine a variety of components. Haas will continue to use the Braintree location as an East Anglian demonstration facility for their machines.

Fenn Tool’s impressive manufacturing facility headed a range of working exhibits from associates like CADCAM programming specialists, Licom Alphacam, Vortec Spot Cooling Systems, BiG Daishowa spindle tooling and WDS work holding equipment.

Clearly, the Open House success can be attributed to our refreshing approach to business where alliances with other companies enables us to provide our customers with relevant and complementary engineering solutions as well as cutting tools.

The company is enjoying remarkable growth this year and this looks set to continue. The Open House success follows the winning of the prestigious MIAA Step Change award and more recently ‘Product of the Show’ award at the Enquip 2000 exhibition in Dublin.
